Astra Ohioma is the founder of ACES and has worked in the hospital and community settings as an NSWOC (Nurse Specializing in Wound, Ostomy and Continence) for over 12 years. She studied Microbiology in Nigeria, West Africa, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. She has a post-graduate certificate in Wound, Ostomy, Continence, and advanced training in Palliative care. Astra is also proficient in project management and Six sigma. In her spare time, Astra enjoys reading novels, spending quality time with family/friends, and engaging in justice-related activities.
